FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Do my clients need a Telegram account?
No. Bookings work with a phone number alone. Telegram is a bonus: if the client has it, reminders + reschedule flows land natively. If not, SMS is the fallback.
Does this work in my country?
Yes. The UI is multilingual, timezones are first-class (pick yours in Settings → Shop), and Telegram + SMS reach clients anywhere in the world. Local-currency pricing and country-specific payment rails land with the billing-provider integration.
How do bookings get prevented from double-booking?
A no-overlap rule is enforced inside the database engine itself, so the system cannot accept two bookings that collide for the same staff member — even if they arrive at exactly the same millisecond. Two clients tapping the same slot at the same instant: one wins, the other gets an immediate "that just went" message.
Can I approve new clients manually?
Yes. Set "auto-confirm" off in Settings → Shop. New bookings land as Pending with a one-tap Approve/Decline on the calendar; the client is notified in real time when you act.
What if I have a lunch break or split shift?
Staff working hours support multiple ranges per day — set 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00 and the slot engine respects both. Add holidays for tenant-wide closures (no slots show up anywhere in the range).
How much does the SMS fallback cost?
Free while we're in early access. SMS will become a usage-based add-on once it's generally available — you'll pay the underlying carrier cost plus a small handling fee, with no markup games.
Who built Zela?
